We received your data on 25 September 2026 from Horse & Rider Reitsportfachhandels GmbH as part of the transfer of the business.

Name, address, email address, phone number, customer account, order history and, if available, your newsletter consent with proof

Purposes

Continuing the customer relationship, processing orders, returns and warranty claims, customer account; newsletter only with existing consent

Legal basis

For customer accounts and ongoing contracts, the transfer of contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for customers with an order in the last three years, our legitimate interest in continuing the customer relationship (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), to which you can object at any time. Data on older orders is stored and restricted only to meet retention obligations. For the newsletter, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)

Recipients

Service providers acting on our behalf: shop system (Shopify), newsletter dispatch (Brevo), payment and shipping providers

Storage period

We delete customer accounts without login and without an order after five years, with a notice email four weeks beforehand; invoice data until the end of the statutory retention periods

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR), withdrawal of consent at any time with effect for the future

Complaints

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony.

You can find detailed information in our privacy policy.

You do not agree to Horse & Rider RFH GmbH taking over your data? Then you can object to further use or have your customer account and data deleted. We will process your request within one month and confirm by email once it is done. Data we are required by law to keep (for example invoices) will be restricted until the end of the retention period and not used for anything else.
